Lion Dance Grip Socks

Hi, I’m Connie, the founder of Charmed Soles Grip Socks.

I grew up doing 13 years of traditional Chinese dance and ballet.

To be honest, I hated it half the time and always wished my parents had sent me to kung fu instead because it looked so much cooler. 

I loved Mulan and Kim Possible and thought being able to “fight” was way more useful in real life. 🤣

In freshman year of college, I taught fan dance for the annual Lunar New Year Festival.

But at the show I saw the lion dance performance.

There was one girl in the group and she was SO COOL, I developed a girl crush on her and promised myself I’d join next year.

I did lion dance for the next 3 years, and even led the group my senior year!

My sister, who draws all our designs, also did lion dance in college, so this design means a lot to both of us. ✨🦁❤️
